Useful documents include accident details, photographs of the scene or injuries, witness contact information, medical records and letters, and correspondence with an insurer or other party. Keep receipts and evidence of financial losses, such as treatment costs, travel expenses or lost earnings, along with relevant payslips or employer records. If you do not have everything, a solicitor may be able to obtain some records with your permission, so do not assume you cannot claim.
